THE TEAM
Gary
Gary is one of our in vehicle instructors. He has many years driving experince and is real gentle spirit. He has a world of experience driving tractor trailers in all kinds of situations.
Doug
Dougs focus is in the trucks delivering in town lessons and the Advanced Mountain Training. He has a very significant background in the mountains and in the winter running the heaviest of the 8 axle trucks including logging trucks and 140,000 lb Super B's over the mountain passes. He is an ICBC certified Class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 Instructor. Doug now has his Air Brakes Instructors and will be delivering Air Brake courses as well as other Classroom courses.
Rayette
Rayette has recently re-joined ProDrivers after a few years absence. She was sorley missed and it is great to have her back with us. She will be in charge of our new HeadHunting division and will be helping all of our students past and present to find the jobs they seek.
Dennis
Dennis started driving commercial vehicles in 1969, and teaching trucks in 1985. He has taught at ProDrivers since 2005. His focus is in the trucks delivering in town lessons and on the Advanced Mountain Training. He has a very significant background in the mountains and in the winter running the heaviest of the 8 axle trucks including fuel delivery. He is an ICBC certified Class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 Instructor. He is also a Certified Air Brakes Instructor and ICBC assessment officer. Dennis is now semi-retrired and works for us on a casual basis.
Fred
Fred has been working for ProDrivers on and off since I started the company. He helps out in the classroom and in the trucks when we need him. He has driven them all and his wealth of experience is something to behold. Fred is an ICBC certified Class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 Instructor. He is also a Certified Air Brakes Instructor and ICBC assessment officer.
Adrienne
Adrienne has been working for the company in the front office since I opened the doors. She now helps with the books and will be Rayettes right hand person to implement the HeadHunting Division as she worked for a major HeadHunting company in Alberta.
Rocky
I opened the doors at ProDrivers in Oct 2003. I worked for the previous owner for a year before I bought him out so have been teaching in Cranbrook since the fall of 2002. Before that I taught Commercial Driving in Victoria at the same school I got my Instructors license from. I have been teaching trucks since 2001. I first got my class one license at Mount Royal College in Alberta in 1978. As all of our Instructors I have many years in the mountains driving in all kinds of weather conditions in all kinds of different trucks and trailers. I am an ICBC certified Class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 Instructor. I am also a Certified Air Brakes Instructor and ICBC assessment officer plus have my GLP and Truck Theory endorsement. I help out where it is most needed at that moment but mostly I stay out of the way and let the crew do their work.
Bear
He is the company mascot and almost always at work. If you leave your lunch out on the tables while you are in the truck training, just remember, he doesn't like tomatoes. When I am at work, he is usually there.
